About Me.

I have always enjoyed mathematics and statistics. When I left school, I had worked hard and gained strong grades at A level in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, to name but two academic qualifications.

I applied for and gained an AAT Accountancy Apprenticeship with a local Sheffield based accountancy practice at eighteen. It was a reasonably small firm, and at an early stage I was truly thrown in ‘at the deep end’ and as a result was taught all aspects of accountancy due to covering any colleague’s illness or holiday. VAT, payroll, CIS, company and personal tax matters.

I qualified in 2020 and left to work in a larger firm in Sheffield, where I concentrated mainly on company tax. I was, however, still hands-on with all other accountancy functions when it was required. 

During this period I began completing friends tax returns, and word spread to the point where I had gained enough clients to go it alone. I decided to make the jump in 2023 to set up my own accountancy firm.

I have lots of satisfied clients from all spheres of business, including hairdressers, gardeners, builders, electricians, estate agents, scaffolding companies, relocation/house moving companies and camper van converters. Some Sole Traders and others Limited companies. 

I still have a love of figures and of keeping up to date with the latest accounting legislation. I get massive satisfaction from guiding my clients successfully through the whole financial processes of operating their businesses.
